Franciscans Retreat with MI Young Adults

This autumn Franciscan Postulants Megan and Tricia and Sister Julie Ann Sheahan trekked to Bay Cliff Health Camp, Big Bay, MI.  to be with young people from university/college campuses within the Diocese of Marquette. Houghton’s St. Albert the Great University Parish Pastor and Diocesan Vocation Director Father Ben Hasse  invited us.baycliff-health-camp-franciscan-sisters-with-diocese-of-marquette-young-adults4

The theme of the retreat weekend was ‘Fall Into God’s Mercy’.  We met @70 students from  Northern Michigan University, Lake Superior State University, Bay College,  and Gogebic C.C.,  as well as Michigan Tech. franciscan-postulants-and-diocese-of-marquette-young-adultsIn addition to valuable talks, small group discussions, time to socialize,  personal time amid the autumn colors and near the shores was built into the schedule.franciscan-postulants-and-michigan-universities-studentsTricia and Megan really enjoyed the afternoon hike.
