Franciscan Convent Gifted with Energy Efficient Windows

by Sister Julie Ann on September 17, 2016

Franciscan Sister Carla Riach reports about how a Diocesan Catholic Foundation Grant benefitted the Sisters at San Xavier Convent, Tucson, AZ with new energy efficient windows.

San Xavier Mission Parish and Franciscan Sisters are very grateful for a Diocesan Catholic Foundation grant designated for replacing the Convent windows with energy saving double-paned models.Franciscan Sisters San Xavier Convent Chapel

The Sisters were amazed at the prompt and efficient work of Pacific Glass & Window despite the difficulty of squeezing in between cacti and the outside of the windows. The jolly crew admitted they needed a tweezers a few times.

Cooling and heating bills should be significantly lower. Rattling and muffled outside noises are gone! The sun shines bright in chapel.
