Roncalli Students Do Service with Franciscan Sisters

In the last days Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity at Holy Family Convent were blessed with students’ energy and enthusiasm from Roncalli High School, Manitowoc, WI.  Roncalli High School Gardeners copyJunior classmates were sent out in groups to do service in various local Manitowoc sites open to help with projects.  6 girls came to our Motherhouse for 3 hours.Franciscan Sister Johanna and Roncalli StudentOur helpers delved into gardening. Along with weeding the outdoor stations bordering Silver Lake, other landscaping needs were given attention. Of course, there was a mid-time cookie break.
