Future Postulant Initiates Home Parish Vocation Outreach

by Sister Julie Ann on May 28, 2016

Megan, accepted to be a Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Postulant in August 2016, planned some home town vocation promotion of her own. She scheduled some classroom visits at Sacred Heart Catholic School, Shawano, WI.Future Postulant Megan and Postulant Mary presenting to junior high

This place holds good childhood memories of teachers and classroom interaction. Postulant Mary and Sister Julie Ann Sheahan were invited to join her for the presentations.Franciscan Sister Julie Ann with Megan and Postulant Mary

Of course on the way to meet wonderful young people and caring faculty and staff, there was a stop to see Megan’s family home near by. We had an unexpected brunch feast!

Future Postulant Megan and ParentsThis weekend Megan shares a little about herself at each of the weekend Masses. She’s hoping to give a simple introduction to our Community  and ask for prayers for all the vocations in our Church.
