Franciscan Sisters on the Road to Lindsay, NE

by Sister Julie Ann on May 25, 2016

Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Sister Sarah Bertler, Sister Elizabeth Ann Miller and Sister Elizabeth Benvie did a road trip from West Point, NE to Lindsay, NE. They were in time for the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindsay, NE. Our Sisters formerly ministered in this small town for many years. Sister Thelma Wiese’s brother and other relatives were among the people at Mass that day.

The pastor of Holy Family Parish, Father James F. Novotny warmly welcomed the Sisters and asked them to stand during his homily. Prayers for vocations were included in the day’s petitions.Franciscan Sisters Visit Lindsay, NE
