Franciscan Sisters Learn About Packer Organization

by Sister Julie Ann on May 9, 2016

Franciscan Sisters at St. Francis Convent, Manitowoc, WI, had a recent session with Mark Murphy talking about the Packer organization.

Mark Murphy was invited by Sister Caritas Marie Le Claire to come to Saint Francis Convent to share a different angle on the Green Bay Packer Organization. He talked little about the players, but mostly about the organization as a whole. He shared about his own Professional career as a Washington Redskin and his work as an attorney. He talked about the new happenings going on in Green Bay such as: Title Town District Plaza with a skating rink, sledding hill and a hotel being built, plus much more.Franciscan Sister Caritas Marie introduces Mark Murphy

Mark was a great speaker; he captivated everyone’s attention.  A question period was offered for the Sisters and Mark commented that all the questions were great questions! At the end Sister Caritas Marie offered Mark a basket of Franciscan goodies from us Sisters which contained homemade Oatmeal bread, Dilly Beans, Caramels and of course a Holy card of Saint Mark.Franciscan Sisters learn about the Green Bay Packer Organization

How great that you asked him to come and that he accepted. Sounds like he went home with some tokens of Franciscan hospitality, too!
