Franciscan Sisters Support Yuma Catholic High School

by Sister Julie Ann on March 30, 2016

During the Easter Season, Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity Sister Alexandra Bettinardi shares about a recent invitation to a special meal at Yuma Catholic High School, Yuma, AZ.

Our Sisters serving at Immaculate Conception Parish, Yuma, AZ were invited for an important fundraiser  at Yuma Catholic High School. The evening, including a meal, is  known now as Keeping Up the Dream after fifteen plus years of calling it the Field of Dreams. Before the school was built this money raiser was held on the 40 acres of  lettuce field, hence the name. The man at our table is Rhett Stallworth, our Assistant Principal and Athletic Director and football coach whose football team has won 3 state championships in the short history of our school. (We are completing our 16th year of existence.) It was a wonderful evening filled with a generous, loving spirit!
