This year the Formation Weekend was a silent retreat on St. Ignatius of Loyola’s Rules for the Discernment of Spirits, which culminated with an evening of recreation in the gym.  Aside from being spiritually fruitful, it also strengthened the spirit of community among those of us in formation – and was an opportunity to have fun together!Franciscan Sisters in St. Francis Chapel

It is always life-giving to have our Sisters in Formation with us for a bit of extra time during the year. We look forward to time with each one in the summer as well. Know, Sisters, that you are supported and remembered in daily prayer.

It is always so good to gather with friends to pray together, learn together and just be together. We are blessed to have these opportunities. Even though this note is late, I was praying for you during your special weekend.
