Franciscan Sister’s Grand Nephew Becomes Transitional Deacon

Franciscan Sister Sharon Paul updates us on Zanesville news of Deacon Sean Dooley, grand nephew of Sister Frances Joseph Hildebrand.

Franciscan Sisters are ever thrilled to be present at ordination ceremonies. When Sean Dooley, from St. Nicholas Parish, Zanesville, Ohio was ordained a Deacon at The Josephinum on Saturday, January 17, 2015 by Bishop Frederick Campbell, we were there.

Sean is a native of St. Nicholas Parish in Zanesville, Ohio.  He attended St. Nicholas Grade School and is a 2006 graduate of Bishop Rosecrans High School.  In 2010 he graduated from the Josephinum College of Liberal Arts with a B.A. in History. Most important, Sister Frances Joseph Hildebrand is Sean’s great-Aunt.  Franciscan Sisters and Deacon Sean

The Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity from Genesis, Zanesville, OH & St. Benedict’s Convent witnessed the beautiful and meaningful ceremony on the Feast of St. Anthony the Great, a prominent leader among the Desert Fathers.

    Sisters -Thank you for your continued support and prayers! My entire family (especially Grandma!) were happy to see you on Saturday and Sunday. I spoke with Aunt Martha (Sr. Frances Joseph) over the phone and told her the sisters from Zanesville and Cambridge were attending the Mass. Thank you again for your ministry in the Zanesville and Cambridge areas.
