Franciscan Sisters have a January song for you.
Career, Calling, Vocation. Gifts and talents, desire and destinies. “How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked in a recent Gospel reading? What are your gifts as a young adult? As a college student? As a Catholic growing in faith? Everyone who seriously reflects on life at some point asks “ Do I dare believe? Do I dare step forward? Why is it so challenging for some to discern a calling in life?”
Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity invite you to listen, reflect and act on David Wilcox’s music Do I Dare. Click here.
A Franciscan Recipe is a winter must. Sister Sister Joy Rose picked Awesome Granola found on the United States Department of Agriculture What’s Cooking? USDA Mixing Bowl website for our January recipe. Click here for more recipes perfect for college students on limited budgets or anyone trying to be healthy and watching food prices.
Catholic Schools Week brought Roncalli High School Students to our Motherhouse in Manitowoc, WI. Our Sisters who gave the students and faculty member music lessons in the past were especially touched by the beauty of the music and the thoughtfulness of the faculty and students.
While we opened our door to K-Grade 5 students from St. Peter the Fisherman School, Two Rivers, WI, our Sisters in AZ, HI, MS, OH and WI were about good things this Catholic Schools Week as well. Click here to read more stories
