With yesterday’s arrival of spring, Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity invite you to season Lent with special goodness with a free music download from Terry Holder. Click here to listen and download ‘Angel Without Wings’.
As Lenten Sunday Gospels encourage us to pray more, it makes sense to listen to good music with a touch of encouragement. If you haven’t yet freely downloaded Mary Castner’s ‘Gonna Be Alright’, click here.
Our Franciscan Sisters serving at St. Peter Mission invited a Catholic Sorority of Students from ASU to visit on a Sunday in March. We invite you to learn more about this sister to Sister experience. Click here.
What would spring break be without a visit from young people from Northern Michigan University. They not only stopped in to see us, but enjoyed some conversation with Franciscan Friars of the Assumption of the BVM Province that serve us as chaplains. Click here to read more. We are a great hang out for a group of young adults desiring to see Franciscan life in action.
This week is our week to volunteer at Hope House, a homeless shelter in Manitowoc, WI. It is a good opportunity to see the goodness of people who are challenged by life’s situations, but still actively choose to gain skills in the job force and in family living.
Now is the acceptable time. Now is the day of salvation. Now is the time to plan your own desert Franciscan prayer experience or register for a discernment retreat. Click here. Expect that we will follow up with a desire to get to know you.
Friday always points to Good Friday. We invite you to pause and consider God’s tremendous love for us. God’s goodness abounds!
