How Do Franciscans Celebrate Advent in the Desert

What’s it like celebrating Advent in the desert? Awesome. Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity serving at St. Peter Mission on the Gila River Indian Reservation capture joyful community moments as we prepare for Advent.

  1. Sister Julie Ann says:

How wonderful to have a front view sancturary seat with all my Sisters at St. Peter Mission as you blessed your Advent wreath! We will cherish further glimpses of your Gospel life of Joy!

  2. Sister Theresa Feldkamp says:

Having just visited with all of you, it was so good to return to
Bapchule via your sharing of the beginning of the Advent season. It
renewed happy memories of the beautiful experience I had of your joy and
enthusiasm in sharing God’s love with the people of St. Peter. I look forward to future sharing!

  3. Sister Kathleen says:

Your video presentations bring us all along on your journeys. I have heard all about Hollywood and Bollywood–maybe now it’s “Holywood”??? Lovely images!

  4. Just as Motherhouse pictures help us feel we are united in Manitowoc, so these images help me feel that I’m celebrating with you in the desert. Whatever program you are using to mix action and still shots is wonderful. I look forward to more sharings
