Franciscan Sisters Catch the Spirit at Steubenville North

by Sister Regina Rose on August 2, 2013

First impressions are powerful. On this feast of the Portiuncula (read more about a special indulgence attached to this day), Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity Sister Regina Rose reflects on immersing herself among the 2100 young people at Steubenville North, St. Thomas University, St. Paul, MN. The fact that this faith experience coincided with the same weekend that 3 million pilgrims kept vigil for Pope Francis at Rio De Janeiro, Brazil added to the magnitude of the moment. May we all find conversion of heart and pray each other into paradise not only today, but everyday!

Steubenville-North-St.-Thomas-University-St.-Paul-MNThe opportunity to attend Steubenville North was a total gift. From meeting hundreds of teens who are passionate about Christ, to making connections with old NET friends and alumni, and seeing 40+ priests celebrating the Mass (as well as great speakers and great music:)-it was an invigorating and renewing experience!

God’s grace there was evident and gives so much hope for the future!
