Franciscan Sisters at Lifest

Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity are called to be at Lifest July 7-10, 2010 at Oshkosh, WI.

Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity are camping out in Oshkosh, WI for Lifest July 7-10, 2010. No tent needed. No sleeping bag packed. The Vocation Team (Sister Mary Ann Spanjers and Sister Julie Ann Sheahan) are living on the good life of Franciscan hospitality at St. Raphael Convent. Ranking higher than the 7 star Town House Galleria in Milan, Sister Anne Marie Lom, OSF and Sister Pamela Biehl, OSF,  create an atmosphere of home’.

What’s Lifest?

It’s a 5 day Christian Rock Festival being held at the Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh, WI. Click here for the line-up of artists.

What can you expect here on Franciscanized World during these days?

We promise photos of families, friends and fans of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity that are attending this 12th annual event on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sunday we need to skip out early. Sister Elena Gonzales is renewing her vows back at our Motherhouse in Manitowoc, WI and we wouldn’t miss that Eucharistic Liturgy no matter how good the music is in Oshkosh!

For the latest action at our Lifest booth, click here for our flick’r site. Come back daily.

I love that our convent is rated better than a 7 star hotel! I did have popcorn ready for the two Lifest sisters… maybe that added to our rating!
Any sister is welcome to our convent home. Just let us know you're coming so “we can leave the light on for you”.

Srs. Julie Ann & Mary Ann do LIVE the good LIFE at St. Raphael's with your hosts: Srs. Anne Marie & Pamela. Imagine you won't be there too LONG so no need “to leave the light on for you beyond midnite.” Enjoy the music artists sharing their God-given talents and the people as the Lord works through each other to work WONDERS, planting seeds that may GERMINATE later in HIS own good time. Thank you for being there. Will you have to take some cotton or earplugs??? HA! Gratefully in St. Francis, Sr. Sharon Paul
