  1. No one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. (Jn.3:13) The Fourth Gospel does not speak about the “passion of Jesus” rather, John speaks about the “exaltation of the cross.”

When traveling I often find myself drawn to the steeples with the cross…maybe because it assures me that Jesus is part of the lives of the people there; maybe because it reminds me to lift my thoughts and heart to God… what do these images evoke in you?

What a beautiful thought the Muslim moon and the Christian Cross. How symbolic! Living in harmony! Also, the Celtic cross from Ireland! Thanks for sharing!

What is a beautiful picture. With me cross is symbolize of God. when I see a cross as I see God. Those imagine evoke me that God is always be with us.

  4. I agree with you NhutHo, the moon often reminds me of Jesus in the Eucharist! Thanks for sharing your thoughts about these images!
