For 40 years Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity serving among the Gila River Indian Community at St. Peter Mission School, Bapchule, AZ have assured that Pima Culture is an essential part of the Catholic School curriculum.

Photojournalist Priscilla Thomas documents this fact in a recent video. Find out why Franciscan Sister Martha Mary Carpenter, present principal of St. Peter Mission School, supports this teaching.
